Cliftonville in Bloom 2020 online launch

The GRASS ‘Cliftonville in Bloom 2020’ competition is now open – celebrating the achievements of innovative and creative green-fingered residents, local businesses and community groups!

The range of categories caters for all abilities and is open to businesses, individuals and community groups. Last year’s crop of entries were some of the most imaginative and creative yet – so hopes are high for this year’s competition!

Stephen Darrer, GRASS committee Secretary, said, ‘We want to encourage residents and businesses to get involved and make Cliftonville a brighter, cleaner and greener place in which to live, work, and do business. During lockdown we have seen keen residents out-and-about getting their gardens ready for this year’s competition’.

Entry to the competition is free, with categories for both experienced and novice gardeners, and a category for creative artistic entries.

Judging of entries will be done by our esteemed panel of local judges.

Cliftonville West residents can enter online at the GRASS Cliftonville website https://grasscliftonville.org/cliftonville-in-bloom

Entries will be accepted until Friday 19th June, judging will taking place on Thursday 9th July and winners will be announced on Sunday 12th July.
