Greening our grey densely populated street and bring the community together is at the heart of our project! replanting a section of our community garden and bringing plants to all areas of our densely populated street with hopefully the inclusion of hanging baskets.
The Gordon road community garden is the triangular piece of land on Gordon road that is gardened and maintained collectively by the volunteer not-for-profit resident community group GRASS. The community garden is maintained by GRASS and its plants are grown for their attractive appearance and enhancing the appearance of the road and surrounding streets.
GRASS aims is to build a community garden that can fulfil a variety of purposes based on the needs within the community from aesthetic, community improvement, physical or mental well-being, creating a space that reduces loneliness by bring the community together within the Cliftonville conservation area.
